Mahindra launched the all-electric SUV, XUV400 in January at a starting price of Rs. 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Now, the carmaker has started delivering the XUV400 with over 400 units of it already dispatched across the country.
Currently, in the first batch, the brand has only delivered the top-spec, EL variant of the XUV400, while the base variant deliveries are scheduled to begin later this year. Moreover, the current prices are introductory and only valid for the first 5,000 bookings of each variant.
Powering the motor of the XUV400, are the two battery pack options – a 34.5kWh and a 39.4kWh pack. The single-motor setup produces a power output of 148bhp and 310Nm of peak torque. And for the range, the former is claimed to return 375km, while the latter, bigger battery pack can deliver a range of 456km on a full charge.
