The latest to join the bandwagon of launches is Mahindra & Mahindra who launched the all-new avtar of Bolero. The all-new Mahindra Bolero has been brought in with the option of three variants, namely SLE, SLX and ZLX, which are both BS3 and BS4 compliant.

The base model, SLE, has been priced at around Rs. 6.19 lacs for the BS3 version and Rs. 6.33 lacs for the BS4 version. On the other hand, the mid-variant SLX is priced at around Rs. 6.67 lacs for the BS3 version and Rs 6.81 lacs for the BS4 version. The top end model of the new Mahindra Bolero ZLX variant would carry a price tag of around Rs. 6.82 lacs for the BS3 version and Rs. 6.96 lacs for the BS4 version.

The Bolero SUV, which has an immense experience of about 8 years in the market, has achieved great sales figures for a long time and already bears the title of being “India’s No.1 selling SUV”. Mahindra Bolero Facelift

Mahindra is quite confident and hopes to achieve the one lac sales mark for its new car, though it is an entry level SUV in Mahindra’s kitty. Considering the fact that Mahindra sold over 84,000 units of Boleros last year, this target seems realistic. The new Bolero, which has received a facelift, is a complete package that includes new front bumpers, new headlights with integrated turn-indicators and new grille upfront, which keeps abreast with its patent design along with minor changes. To make it look more aesthetic and appealing, Mahindra has come up with new decals on the sides and an extra wheel cover has been offered along with rear.

As far as the interiors are concerned, Mahindra & Mahindra seems to conjure innovative features in the new Bolero. It is now affixed with new dual-tone seats with folding centre arm rest, which is a premium feature. Lighter shades of colours on the interiors enhance the aesthetics of the interiors. The most noticeable changes are in the instrument cluster and the steering wheel. The instrument cluster has been transformed into digital kind, which again debuts in the segment. Furthermore, the New Bolero SUV features an engine immobiliser.

Though the Bolero at present is not offered with a four-wheel drive, the future looks bright and Mahindra might come up with a 4×4 variant in the near future. The new Bolero can be purchased from any of the 200 Mahindra showrooms across India.

With the launch of this SUV, Mahindra confirms its active participation in the race among carmakers to lead the Indian automobile market and indicates that its aim to achieve great success this year round is not so far.
