Big cars like Renault Koleos and Hyundai Santa Fe are known to do their job with a dash of comfort and luxury at its best. Koleos from Renault is a visual treat, the SUV has been crafted for stunning style with a dash of superior comfort. Bigger, better and stronger is the recently launched Hyundai Santa Fe. The new version imbibes a Fluidic-derived Storm edge design philosophy.
The SUV shall be powered by the same 2.2 liter diesel engine that produces an impressive 194 bhp with a torque output of 436 Nm. Two-wheel drive/Four-wheel drive pattern shall be available with an option to choose from Automatic transmission or Manual Transmission. Six air bags and all-wheel drive come as standard on the top variant. Design has undergone the knife to look better than before. The SUV has undergone quite some changes, on the exterior front, the Santa Fe features a bolder-looking grill and the headlights are mated with the hood to flow through its sides. The sides also feature a smooth contour bringing out the Fluidic design at its best. The SUV's teardrop-shaped fog lamps are integrated into the front bumpers. Single-sided quad shaped exhaust at the rear has been retained along with a large bash plate. The car now features a smaller glass pane between the C and D pillar. The interior in the Santa Fe is stated to be based on Fluidic design. It features a GPS device, leather seats, sunroof and a convenient start-stop system for the engine. Legroom for the rear seats have also been worked upon and can seat up to three people with ease. The interiors look elegant with generous use of beige. The locally assembled SUV is launched at an attractive price tag of 26.3 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
The Renault Koleos is available in two wheeled as well as four wheeled drive option. The two wheel drive is powered by 2.0 Litre engine that generates about 150Ps of power at 4000 RPM. The four wheel drive version is also powered by 2.0 Liter engine that generates about 173 Ps of power. The car has been designed for extra-urban adventure with optimized handling and maneuverability. For safety the car is loaded with the ESP system controls that corrects the trajectory. Moreover, the braking assistance feature reduces the distance on stopping. The SUV comes pre-fitted with a combination of cruise control and a speed limiter. The car is high on performance, but does not compromise on fuel efficiency figures and delivers an impressive mileage of around 17.15 kmpl. The SUV is offered at a starting price of Rs. 21,33,325 (Ex-showroom Mumbai).
