Sale numbers of Honda Brio show that this car has been very well received in the Indian automobile market. Notably, so far, cumulatively, 54,095 units of this compact car have been sold in the last two years since its inception in the market. The company official said that the new variant of Brio will flaunt an 'Exclusive' emblem. It would be available for customers in three colours namely Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver and Rally Red. Some other features that customers and car enthusiasts can look forward for are door visor, exhaust pipe finisher, back-up sensor and illuminated side-step garnish.

This exclusive edition of Honda Brio is powered by an advanced 1.2-litre i-VTEC (intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control) engine that delivers high power output and an impressive fuel economy. The main characteristic of the i-VTEC technology is that its implementation ensures varied opening of air-fuel intake valves and exhaust valves as per the engine speeds. This in turn results in more power and high fuel efficiency while driving. Exteriors are marked by body coloured front and rear bumpers, efficient halogen lights, front chrome grille, body coloured outside rear view mirrors, body coloured outer door handles, full trim wheels, front/rear mudguards and tail-gate spoiler.

Interiors of this new variant have been stepped-up by introducing a premium sporty black interior colour scheme. Just like top variants, this new version too will come with an integrated Honda advanced audio (AM/FM, MP3, USB with AUX-in) system. The audio control switch is mounted on steering for easy access. For crisp and powerful sound output, there are front and rear speakers. Other features include 1OO per cent foldable rear seat back, sporty amber colour illumination, chrome air vent rings and gear shift ring, silver steering wheel garnish and premium sporty black inner door handles.

The new Brio will be a safe vehicle to drive on busy city roads. Various safety and security features that have been incorporated in this vehicle are ACE body structure, immobilizer, rear windshield defogger, driver seat belt reminder, day/night inside rear view mirror, high mount stop lamp and full size spare tyre. Besides Brio, Honda Cars India Ltd also sells other car models that include sedans City, Accord, Amaze and sports utility vehicle CR-V. Many industry experts view the introduction of this pepped-up version of Brio as a noble step to expand its customers base and thus, increase the overall share in the Indian automobile market.
