Gulf Speed Bolt, the annual motor sporting event organised by Gulf Oil, took place with full flair and witnessed Aston Martin Vantage GTE Endurance Race car scorching the Budhh International Circuit (BIC), located in Greater Noida.

Aston Martin Vantage GTE Endurance Race is pegged by top industry boffins to be the most powerful vehicle in its class of racing. However, the biggest surprise was presence of Stefan Mucke, the driver who drove the Vantage GTE to a podium finish at 2012 24 hour Endurance Race in Le Mans, as he sat behind the wheel and stormed the BIC Formula 1 racing track in his British made super sports car.

The Aston Martin Vantage GTE revelled in the traditional blue and orange scheme associated with the Gulf Oil Corp. in its quick fire appearance at one of the fastest racing circuits in world. Interestingly, the iconic colour scheme brought back memories of the legendary Porsche 917 and Ford GT40 super endurance cars.

Reportedly, Mucke had a major blast at BIC and traversed the entire track in just a little over 2 minutes, as well as hitting a top speed of 250 km per hour. The Greater Noida based venue just got a nimble taste of endurance motor sports that are organised all across the globe with much fan fare.
