Mercedes-Benz India, today, launched the S63 AMG performance sedan at Rs. 2.53 crore (ex-showroom,Bangalore). The Mercedes-Bens S63 sedan is the tenth of fifteenproducts to be rolled out this year. Just so you know, the company recently introduced the S500 Coupe, S63 Coupe and G63 AMG Crazy Color Edition in the country.
The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG sedan is powered with a 5.5-litre V8 Bi-Turbo petrol engine that comes mated to a 7-speed AMG speedshift sports transmission. It churns out a maximum power of 567bhp and a peak torque of 900Nm. This performance sedan takes 4.4 seconds to mark 0-100kmph on speedometer. It is capable to attain a top speed of 250kmph. The 4MATIC all wheel drive system comes as a standard feature.
On the exterior, the S63 AMG sedan sports stylish front bumper with large air intakes, 20-inches AMG titanium alloy wheels, rear bumper with in-built diffuser and AMG sports exhaust. The interior, too, is as sporty and premium as the exterior. It features AMG sports seats with heating function and electrical adjustment, AMG Sports steering wheel, aluminum shift paddles and animated instrument console with AMG badging. The S63 sedan comes with Designo program for exterior and interior customization.
The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG performance sedan, that rivals the Continental Flying Spur, BMW 760Li, Maserati Quattraporte and Bentley Flying, will be imported as a CBU (completely built up) unit in India.
