The wait is almost over for all KTM fans, who have been desperately waiting for the new models of the company. Recently, after the new versions were caught in action for the test drives, the desperation only increased for the bikers. However, KTM has found out a way to deal with all this desperation in a fabulous technique by launching the siblings on the same date. Yes, the KTM RC series siblings will be launched simultaneously on September 9th. Modelled on the Duke versions, which are the global best-selling models of this company, KTM has been testing both the bikes for some time now. However, some changes have been made to the bikes from the Duke versions just to make them more suitable for the Indian conditions. There has not been an official invitation from KTM; however, it has been unofficially declared that KTM RC 390 and RC 200 on the 9th of Septemberas confirmed by its nationwide dealers.

Though it was initially rumoured that pre bookings have started, however, there is not much truth into the news. It might be possible that some dealers are using the launch date to create a waiting list sort of thing to increase the rush. However, booking for both the models will begin only after the launch on 9th.

KTM RC 390 runs on the same engine as Duke 390, thus giving the same power as the global best-selling model. It has a water cooled four-stroke single cylinder 373.2 cc engine that is constantly fed by an electronic fuel injection. The maximum power output has been charted at 43.5 PS. The peak torque comes around 35 Nm. The external features have also been made attractive with split seats, clip-on handlebars, 10 spoke orange alloy wheels, twin projector headlamps and an orange frame. The tuning might be slightly adjusted to accelerate better to counter the added weight. It has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres as compared to the 11 litres tank of Duke.
