Mahindra has tried their best to keep their 110 cc scooter under cover. However, it has been spied several times on the road during test drives. Though it has been internally known as G101, the model would be called Zesto. As of now, three colours have been confirmed for the 110 cc scooter – red, white and black. Going with the market trend some fancy names will surely be inducted for these colours during sales. Mahindra makes an entry to the 110 cc scooter segment with the Zesto, which has been placed below the Rodeo. The front apron features pseudo air vents beside the blinkers reminding us of the Kinetic Blaze, which was quite a hit. The company logo has been installed on the front on a faux aluminium panel.

Mahindra has kept the specifications well under wraps. However, it has been rumoured that the Zesto will have a similar 110 cc Centuro engine. The stylish scooter will produce a maximum power of 8.38 BHP. The peak torque comes at 8.5 Nm with an automatic transmission unit. This will definitely pave the way for the manufacturer to grab a better position in the two-wheeler market.

The scooter will feature a low seat height, just to make sure that the model finds reception among the female riders. The instrument cluster is an analogue unit; however, that does not make it less attractive. The speedometer and fuel indicator have been placed on the instrument cluster just to make sure that all necessary information can be caught by a blink down while riding. Moreover, the classy touch tenders a unique appearance to the Zesto. The quadrilateral display consists of the headlamp and blinkers on the side. The rear tail lamp has an integration of the brake lamp and the blinkers, giving it a bolder appearance.

The wheels were spied to have steel rims in place of alloys, which might reduce its price. As it is the entry level variety of the manufacturer in this segment, it is expected that the price tag will be kept at a lower end. Once the final testings are completed, the release date will be announced. With the research and development in full flow for Zesto, it is expected that the launch of the model is slated for some time soon. It will face stiff competition from the existing models but going by its specifications, it is expected to fair quite well and become a popular choice, especially among female riders.
