Hyundai Verna is quite popular in the segment of sedans. However, with the launch of more variants by other brands like Maruti Ciaz and Honda City, the competition has heated up in this sector. Somewhat, the market of the Verna has slightly faced a nosedive due to launch of competitors in this segment. To counter this, the brand has decided to launch an updated version of this car in 2015. The updated version will have more of dynamical changes than cosmetics. The production of the car has already started and it will be up for sales from early 2015.
The segment of sedans has been an interesting affair in the last few years. Honda City was once the leading car in this segment. Not only this thing, the model held on to its top position for a major part of the last decade. However, after the launch of Verna, the car quickly made huge grounds and overtook the City. It soon became the best-selling model in this range; however, City regained its top position soon. Now, Maruti has launched the Ciaz, which might be the best bet for the brand to grab a hold of the sales. Hyundai has planned to hit out at the rest by launching the mechanically updated Verna next year to gain the lead once again.
Hyundai Verna 2015 is called the Solaris in Russia and had recently undergone some changes in the front design, which had its influence from the Genesis and Sonata. The new front look of the car has given an all-new identity to this car. However, this time around, Hyundai will load the new car with a plethora of features to rise above the competition. Apart from that, the car is going through a series of changes in the improvement of suspension. Once the car is launched during the first quarter of the year 2015, it will be a challenge for the rest of the models to compete against the renewed version. The new version is being tested in Cibhi near Chennai and once the process is complete, it will be launched in India.
