The leading South Korean automobile giant, Hyundai Motor has unveiled its revamped premium sports coupe, the new Genesis Coupe, recently, at the Korea Speed Festival 2011 in Yeongam, Korea. The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a facelift version of the company's first rear-wheel drive sports coupe, which was introduced back in October 2008.

The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe enthralled about 5,000 sports car enthusiasts with its sporty new looks that offers a power-packed and dynamic driving experience. Several features towards the exterior include a wide radiator grille that enhances cooling systems, suave headlamps, LED positioning lamps, LED rear combinational lamp and more.

On the other hand, the interior of the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes with refined superior technology features. Moreover, a standard multi-gauge placed at the centre further enhances the driver's experience.

With an upgraded interior and exterior, Hyundai's new Genesis Coupe also assimilates a better engine. The new Genesis Coupe comes with two engine options namely, Lambda 3.8 GDi and the Theta 2.0 TCI.

The Lambda 3.8 GDi is better particularly in terms of performance and efficiency as it directly injects fuel into the cylinder. The new Genesis Coupe with Lambda 3.8 GDi engine has maximum power churning capacity of 350 bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm, making it far better than the Lambda 3.8 MPi engine.

The Theta 2.0 TCI engine has a larger radiator intercooler and the high-performance turbocharger cools air more efficiently and improves driving responsiveness. Moreover, the twin-scroll turbo permits a finer performance and durability. Compared to the previous Theta 2.0 TCi engine, the new version delivers an improved power output of 275 bhp and peak torque of 372 Nm.

In order to bring out a smoother shifting and more dynamic driving experience, the engine in the new Genesis Coupe is paired with an eight-speed automated transmission.

Hyundai Motor Company has maintained a remarkable standing among world's largest automobile makers. The company continues to prove its mettle with advancements like the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
