Korean automaker Hyundai has been one of the toughest contender for country's popular carmaker Maruti Suzuki. In a attempt to further boost up its sales and strengthen its presence in the country, the company is reportedly offering discounts of upto Rs. 70,000 as part of 'Monsoon Splash Offer'. However, the offer is not applicable on the company top-selling i20 variants.
As reports suggest, the Hyundai's Verna has been striving hard to reach the top in the mid-size sedan segment, where it faces tough competition from the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Honda City. Until now, the company has been noting impressive sales numbers with just the i20 and Xcent variants, whereas the rest of models have not been performing as expected.
