Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has taken up a noble initiative in support of its customers who have suffered from the effects of cyclone Phailin by providing them free service for their two-wheelers. With this service camp exclusively meant for Honda's customers, the company is aiming to take a step towards achieving greater customer satisfaction. The camp has been started from November, 2013 at all of its authorised dealers in Orissa.

Taking up such service camps, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India now becomes the first two wheeler company in India that has started such a kind of initiative meant for cyclone affected areas. Lending a comment for the initiative, Y.S Guleria, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, was quoted as saying, “We understand the plight of our Customers & Channel partner who have suffered loss in their individual and business partner capacity by this unfortunate natural disaster. We are at the forefront to provide all kind of support to minimize the damage caused.”

it must be noted that Honda has previously showcased its activeness in bringing newer initiatives that are aimed at drawing more confidence in its buyers. This latest development has once again reiterated the company's plans to further strengthen the bond that it shares with customers. After Diwali, owners of Honda's two-wheelers can take their vehicles to any dealer of the company, situated in Orissa, for getting the damages repaired. It must be noted that due to the cyclone that hit various parts of Orissa, a heavy loss of life and property was incurred. So, the two-wheeler manufacturer is doing a bit, in order to give some kind of relief for the affected customers. Interestingly, this mega service initiative happens to be the part of a global commitment of the company to offer optimum customer satisfaction.
