In January 2012, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) revealed its 110 cc Dream Yuga at the 2012 Auto Expo held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The bike was launched officially in India on 15th May 2012 and comes with price tag of Rs. 44,642 (Ex-showroom Price). This is HMSI's first ever attempt to tap the mass commuter segment. The Dream Yuga from Honda India also happens to be the automotive giant's cheapest model across the globe. It delivers mileage of 72 kmpl, which makes it ideal for India, where fuel prices are rising constantly.

However, going by the specifications, Dream Yuga looks like another CB Twister, also from Honda, but in different disguise. Honda's CB Twister is priced at Rs. 45,140 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is quite close to the price of the Dream Yuga. Going into further details, Yuga is powered by a 4 stroke 110 cc engine, whereas the CB Twister comes with an air cooled and Spark-Ignition (SI) 109 cc motor. Yuga delivers power of 8.5 bhp at 7500 rpm against the 9 bhp at 8000 rpm of Twister. Each of them is available with the options of self start and/or kick start.

Both of them sport a fuel tank with the capacity of 8 litres. Disc brakes are quite common in bikes in the present time, so it is no wonder that Honda has decided to use the same one in its latest offering, though the older model lacks it.

Leaving aside the looks of both the models and very little differences in the specifications, it is quite apparent that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has just worked upon and toned down the previous model to come up with its latest offering to target a larger market.
