      Hero Motocorp launches Maestro Edge for Rs 49,500 and showcases Duet scooter

      India's largest bikemaker Hero Motocorp has launched the new Maestro Edge and showcased the upcoming Duet scooter in India. The Maestro Edge has been offered in two trims LX for Rs 49,500 and VX for Rs 50,700 (Both ex-showroom, Delhi). The bikemaker shall officially launch the scooter on 13th October. The Duet scooter on the other hand has only been showcased and maybe launched sometime soon with the same AVL-designed engine that serves the Maestro Edge.

      The new Maestro Edge gets 110cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine paired to CVT generates about 8Bhp power and 8.3Nm of torque. In terms of features, the scooter gets engine immobilizer, half digital and half analogue instrument panel, LED taillights, underseat luggage lamp, external fuel filler cap and mobile charging socket. For better handling and safety, the scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels, combined braking system and tubeless tyres.

      The showcased Duet scooter gets an all-metal body for rugged performance. In terms of tech specs the scooter shall also get the similar engine that serves the Maestro Edge. The Duet may also get the same feature like half digital and half analogue instrument panel, underseat luggage lamp, external fuel filler cap, mobile charging socket, telescopic front suspension and much more. The pricing aspect may be known at a later date.
