      Hero MotoCorp seems to be focused on developing its good selling 100 cc bikes in the Indian market. India's largest bike-maker has launched an upgraded version of its highly fuel efficient bike HF-Deluxe. The newly launched bike has been rechristened as 'HF-Deluxe Eco'. For a country obsessed with mileage, the new launch seems to be a smart move by the Indian bike-maker.

      The HF-Deluxe Eco is powered by 97.2cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that generates about 7.8 Ps of max power with 8 Nm of torque. The bike gets 4 speed gearbox with traditional all-up pattern as seen in top-selling Splendour line. The HF-Deluxe Eco does not burn rubber at traffic stops, but indeed is ideal for mileage focused lot of regular commuters in the country. As per statements made by engineers from Hero MotoCorp, the HF-Deluxe Eco features stylized air foils over the crash guard and ergonomically designed wing mirrors that provide with superior air resistance. The new design changes along with low rolling resistance tyres are said to deliver better fuel efficiency figures.

      The bike comes with wider seat for maximum comfort. Moreover, the Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers for the front wheel and Swing arm with 2 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber for the rear wheel have been tuned to handle Indian road conditions. The bike also gets an electric starter which is helpful especially during regular traffic signal halts. Improved knee grip and interesting body graphic makes the bike a stylish mode for regular commute. The bike retails at an interesting price tag of Rs. 54, 200(On-road, Mumbai).
