      Geneva Auto Show continues to attract auto lovers for the latest and innovative car designs, especially in the eco-car segment. Various auto makers continue to introduce new eco-friendly car models including electric cars and hybrid vehicles. While Nissan revealed its small car model Micra for the developing markets and Tata introduced its Nano Electric model for the European customers, other car makers carried the trend to suit the visitor tastes.

      Audi introduced its Q5 hybrid model at the Geneva Auto Show which will be introduced in the US market by end of 2011. It also revealed the A8 hybrid model that will go on sale in the US market at the same time as Q5. Audi called A8 as “engineering study.” The model is powered by 2.0-liter TFSI engine with 211 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with an electric motor for a combined 245 hp and 354 lb-ft. It delivers a mileage of 16.15 kmpl.

      Kia unveiled its dazzling and impressive looking SUV model Kia Sportage at the Show. It is the third generation compact SUV that will be introduced globally later this year. The looks are greatly inspired by Kia Sorento and it offers a 161-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and a 134-hp 2.0-liter turbodiesel. The model comes with 5 and 6 speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options.

      Lotus Evora Carbon is a raving beauty that gels with environmental concepts. The car includes considerable amount of carbon fiber in its structural, interior and aerodynamic components. The model is a fine design of curves and moulds good enough to lure any auto enthusiast around the globe.
