Japanese auto major, Honda finally unveiled the next Generation City at a world premier event in Delhi. This event is a very important one as Honda has finally introduced the City in the diesel sedan market too. The technical specifications of both the petrol and diesel variants will be revealed at a later date however, the petrol will carry forward an improved version of the 1.5L petrol i-VTEC engine while the diesel variant will get the 1.5L i-DTEC engine.
The New Honda City will be launched in January 2014 across all dealerships in India. Dealerships have already started taking bookings for it. Honda claims the new City Diesel will be the most fuel efficient sedan in its segment. Honda officials seems very confident about the diesel sedan but then will it create a dent in the Indian market is something we need to wait for and everything will get settled once the New City is launched in India.
