Ford Motor Company, the second largest auto manufacturer in the US, is contemplating to introduce Mustang in the Asian car market realizing the surging potential for global auto makers in Asian countries. Ford Mustang is the company’s third oldest model in its global portfolio and the commands an unmatched popularity in America but has sought less popularity in the European countries.

It is growth of automobile companies at an accelerated pace in the Asian countries that has driven the Ford Mustang to strategically enter the target market. Moreover, countries in this continent have provided favorable response along with acceptance to the Mustang model by Ford. The auto maker is adapting its marketing tools and techniques before leaping into the Asian market so as to avoid deadlocks that can possibly have adverse effects at the entry level.

For the Asian and European auto markets, Ford will be aggressively promoting the car for their high-end customers, Shelby GT500 that is loaded with a powerful 5.8 Liter V8 engine. Ford is endeavoring to capture the Asian markets along with reiterating the position of Mustang in Europe facing fierce competition in the progressive auto markets of Asia and Europe.
