The Indian unit of the US based leading car maker Ford Motors is all set to launch a limited edition version of its popular sports utility vehicle (SUV) Ford Endeavour. The new limited Edition has been named as Hurricane Limited Edition and will be incorporating an all wheel drive system. The new limited edition will be rolled-out in this festive season, so that sales of Endeavour SUV can be boosted significantly.
Carrying a price tag of Rs 20.13 lakh, the new Ford Endeavour Hurricane will come blessed with a range of cosmetic changes including a new bar at front, chrome tipped exhaust, etc. The other major attractions of the new SUV include touch screen entertainment system, built in DVD player with a rear camera etc. Hurricane will be a seven seater SUV which will have a 3 liter Duratorq TDCi diesel engine at its heart. It is capable of delivering a peak power of 156 PS.
While further informing about the new limited edition SUV Hurricane, Mr. Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director of Ford India said that the special edition of the Endeavour model would be surely attracting the buyers of this segment, thanks to its enhanced safety features that makes it a commendable vehicle for its price.
The Ford Endeavour is currently competing with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V, BMW X1, Mitsubishi Outlander, Chevrolet Captiva, Nissan X-Trail and Hyundai Santa Fe.
