      Coming to the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, India’s best selling entry level subcompact car, the model has garnered an incredible fan following in the domestic passenger car market. The company has made available the top end model of its Alto 800 Lxi at an on-road price of Rs. 3.72 lakhs (Mumbai region). As per reports, Maruti Suzuki doles out between Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 12,000 worth consumer discount, along with an up to Rs. 3,000 corporate concession.

      Tata Motors, the country’s largest automobile manufacturer, has been chasing domestic buyers for selling its Nano entry level compact car. The standard trim of Nano model carries an on-road Mumbai price tag around Rs. 1.8 lakhs and comes with a cash concession between Rs. 15,000 to 20,000, courtesy of the company. Accordingly, the Nano can be bought at a net pricing of Rs. 1.6 lakhs in Mumbai. Further, Tata Motors promises to deliver the car within 10 to 12 days of the order.

      Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the country’s largest exporter and second largest manufacturer of passenger cars, has tasted glorious success with its two hatchback models, namely i10 and the premium i20. The i10 Magna trim comes with an on-road price tag of Rs. 5,30,259 in Mumbai and the company is shelling out some impressive discounts and freebies on its purchase. For instance, Hyundai is offering a cash and corporate discounts of Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 3,000, respectively, along with the much fawned upon free insurance on its i10 Magna model.

      Further, the auto maker has also lined up a mouth watering exchange bonus between Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 22,000 with the present market value of the car being exchanged. The faithful Hyundai customers with a history of owning one of its models, can also benefit from a cash concession of Rs. 15,000 on purchasing of the new i10. They just need to show the original RC book and insurance papers (at least 6 months old) of their previous Hyundai car.

      At present, the Magna variant of Hyundai i20 premium hatchback comes with a pricing of Rs. 6,10,109 (on-road Mumbai). Hyundai is offering a corporate concession up to Rs. 3,000, along with an exchange bonus in the range Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 on the sale of a brand new i20 Magna model. Further, a royalty bonus of Rs. 10,000 is also made available by Hyundai for its faithful customers.

      With these hot deals, the auto makers are in a full swing to lure the price sensitive Indian buyers. Interestingly, all these models are already the hot sellers of hatchback segment, which is believed to be most lucrative section of the Indian auto market.
