      Official images of Audi A7 Sportback and S7 Sportback have been released. The vehicles will be marking their debut in the UK market soon. Speculations suggest that Audi will launch upgraded A7 in international markets by year end while in India the vehicle could be launched either by year end or by early next year. Upgrades have been given to the exteriors, interiors and additional features have also been equipped. Built majorly with aluminium and high-tech steel grades, the new A7 Sportback is extremely lightweight.

      Among the exterior modifications, reworked front and rear bumper, tweaked front grille, angular exhaust tips and redesigned tail lamps are included. New Matrix LED head lamps with turn signals are being offered as optional. Valcona leather and /Beaufort walnut inlay used inside the vehicle ups the luxury quotient of the new A7 Sportback. Customers will also get the option to choose from five shades for the seats. An array of equipment have also been embedded inside the vehicle including an entertainment system, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, stop and go function, adaptive cruise control, night vision, side assist, active lane assist, active lane assist and pre-sense safety system.

      2015 Audi A7 Sportback will be offered in two TFSI petrol and three TDI diesel engines. A 3.0 litre TDI V6 Clean diesel engine engendering maximum power ranging between 268.3 Bhp and 214.6 Bhp will be offered on the “ultra” variant of the vehicle. Besides this, a 3.0 litre TDI bi-turbo engine pumping out maximum power of 315 Bhp will also be offered. The 3.0 litre TDI bi-turbo engine will be coupled to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. A seven-speed S tronic transmission will be mated to the other engines in the line-up.

      The front wheel drive variants will be mated to a dual-clutch gearbox replacing the earlier multitronic transmission. Engines engendering power at 268 Bhp could be coupled with the all-wheel drive system distributing power between rear wheels. New lightweight brakes could also be equipped in some of the variants, though Audi drive select dynamic handling system will be offered as standard. A7 Sportback on the other hand could come packed with a 4.0 litre, 444 Bhp engine.
