As enthusiasts and car makers eagerly await the arrival of Asia's largest automotive show, Auto Expo, manufacturers and OEMs are gearing up to take the show to new highs amid hurting slowdown in the industry. Delphi India is one such participant that decided to put its 'to-be-launched' products on display.

Delphi India showcased its products before the official unveiling during the 2012 Auto Expo which would commence from 7th January and will go on till 11th January. Counting on the three basis theory of “Safe, Green and Connected”, the OEM aims to enhance the safety and comfort quotient of the car. As per Delphi India, the situations and attitude of a market in a particular region depends upon three megatrends.

The ‘megatrend’ prevailing worldover gives an idea regarding how globalization has contributed immensely for the upgradation of technology around the globe. Moreover, the exorbitant cost of non-artificial resources has sparked a trend that tends to bring about effective changes in order to have environment-friendly modes of transport.

The second megatrend is made up of people and describes the increasing emphasis of car buyers on security levels offered by the car.

The third type of megatrend is technology driven that has simplified the dissemination of information, crossing all barriers that were prevalent prior to the technological revolution.

Thus, manufacturers like Delphi India have further raised the bars for the Auto Expo and aided in providing access to latest technologies that are making rounds worldover.
