      Car buyer alert - 5 Cars to look out for during Diwali

      It has been a known fact that Indian carbuyers often wait for auspicious days before buying a new car. With Diwali festival round the corner, interested car buyers can consider these five interesting new models – Maruti Baleno, Maruti Ertiga facelift, Fiat Avventura Abarth, FIat Punto Evo Abarth and Chevrolet Trailblazer.

      Maruti Suzuki Baleno

      Maruti Suzuki has been a leading player in the Indian market. The carmaker has planned the launch of all new Baleno on 26th October and the new Ertiga on 10th October this year. The Ertiga MPV is expected to receive the same 1.4-liter K-Series petrol engine and a 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine options with some tweaks for better fuel efficiency. Additionally, the vehicle also gets SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) micro-hybrid system. Whereas, the Baleno would get 1.2-liter K-Series Petrol engine and 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine. The petrol trim is also offered with CVT option apart from the 5-speed manual transmission.

      The Chevrolet Trailblazer offers a good preposition for those looking out for premium SUV in India. The company shall launch the new SUV on 21st October, 2015. The Chevrolet Trailblazer shall be powered by 2.8-litre Duramax, four-cylinder engine which would generate about 197Bhp of power. For now it would be available in 4x2 Wheel drive option, whereas 4x4 wheel drive option would be offered at a later date. The vehicle comes with all modern safety features thereby making it a good proposition in its segment.

      Italian carmaker Fiat has something for performance enthusiasts in the country. The company plans on launching the Abarth Punto and Abarth Avventura sometime soon. The Abarth Punto is due for launch on October 10, 2015, whereas the Abarth Avventura shall be up for grabs by the end of this year. Abarth Punto gets a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine that generates 145bhp and 212Nm of torque. Whereas, the Abarth Avventura also powered by 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine generates about 140bhp and 210Nm of torque. Abarth Punto will be offered in two shades - White and Black, whereas the Abarth Avventura will available in While and Red colors.
