In a terrible truck accident occurred at 12.30 am on 21st May 2012, near Shyopur area in Sanganer locality, 28-year-old youth lost his life whereas his friend suffered extensive injuries. A truck hit their motorbike causing the mishap.
As per the local police, four people who work as recovery agents were en-route to the bypass area of 200 feet from Mansarovar to have dinner. Radhe Mohan, a 25 year old youth was riding a bike with Sat Narayan (26). Rampratap (28) and his friend Mahaveer, a 26 year old were on another bike. While crossing the Shyopur area at around 12.30 am, a speeding truck from the opposite direction hit Ram Pratap's vehicle.
According to an officer, Police Control Room (South), "Both the youth sustained grave injuries and Rampratap succumbed in the hospital.” None of the victims were wearing a helmet and hence received serious head injuries, as reported by the cops, who were informed about the accident by some eye-witness.
The officer further added that, "The injured youth Mahaveer is undergoing treatment at the SMS hospital and his condition was critical according to the hospital authorities.” under section 304A (death by negligence), a case has been filed against the truck driver who is absconding since the incident.
