      USD 4,00,000 kept by Will.I.Am in his car

      Hip Hop star Will.I.Am, who is also the front man for famous band, The Black Eyed Peas confessed to have kept huge finances in his car at one time. He supposedly stashed uncashed pay cheques worth USD 4,00,000 for Black Eyed Peas in the glove compartment of the car. The singer says in his young age, he was totally unaware of his finances. Therefore, he kept the pay cheques in the car as he liked to keep track of how much money is there.

      Will.I.Am said, "I had USD 4,00,000 in my glove compartment. You don't know anything about financial literacy when you come from the ghetto." He further said that he thanks music to save his life as it kept him away from the gangs.

      The band's 37 year old front man commented, "There were a lot of gangs. A lot of my friends are dead, in prison or have sold drugs. You joined a gang or you did arts or sports." Will.I.Am is planning to go back to his childhood neighbourhood of Boyle Heights in Los Angeles which is famous for its tough and hard life. He plans to launch a car company in the area and create jobs for the residents.

      Will.I.Am is also a mentor on channel BBC1's Talent Show 'The Voice'. Earlier, the front man was also accused of missing out on a crucial coaching time with his, contestants Jaz Ellington and Tyler James for a second time. He was supposed to be back on 17th of May afternoon after he took a flight to the United States on 14th May. However, he failed to board the return flight.

      According to a source, "Will's acts think he's putting his own career first a lot of the time and it shows when Tom spends so much time with his." The source further added "He can get away with it because his artists aren't performing this weekend, but they're still rehearsing. They feel like they can't depend on him." Will.I.Am has been signed by the channel for £ 6,00,000 for the show along with fellow celebrities Tom Jones, Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue.

      While the other coach on the show, Sir Tom trains his team five times a week. Will admits that he does not coach his contestants as he has been busy with his latest single number. He said, "I've just got a different approach”
