The petrol version is powered by a K-12 series engine while the diesel variant is powered by a D13A engine. This sedan has got front (MacPherson strut with coil spring) and rear (Torsion-beam with coil spring) suspensions to absorb shocks and ensure stability for a smooth on-road drive. The mileage offered by petrol and diesel variants of Swift DZire are up to 19.1 kmpl and 23.4 kmpl, respectively.

A brand new edition of Honda City has been also introduced by the auto maker, which comes equipped with a 1.5-litre, 4 cylinder, new generation i-VTEC mill that is able to churn out a maximum power of 116 bhp at 6600 rpm with torque of up to 146 Nm. The automatic model of this sedan features an unique Paddle Shift gear option that helps to switch gears without using the clutch pedal. This sedan offers a safe on-road drive by virtue of a number of active and passive safety features like Dual SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA) and pre-tensioner seat belts.
