Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited, one of the famous luxury automobile manufacturers in the world, is currently owned by BMW and acts a subsidiary of BMW AG. The first car to come out by the BMW owned Rolls-Royce was the famous 4-door sedan, Phantom, in the year 2003. The ultra-luxurious car was made up of almost all unique parts, and since then it has been a major success. Recently, Rolls-Royce announced the latest addition to the highly exclusive and luxurious Phantom family, named the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk. The limited edition car is inspired by the stealth technology used by the modern fighter jets and is built specially by the exclusive British firm Bespoke’s team. Only 9 special editions of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk will be going on sale, and that too in the North American market only.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk comes painted in Diamond Black Metallic colour and matte black spread across the bonnet. The car features a set of large silver wheels, and the windscreen frame is made up of absorbent materials used in stealth jets. The interior of the car is covered in Red and Black full-grain leather. Its dashboard and door panels are covered in carbon fibre, and even the instrument panel features carbon fibre dials that come with incandescent orange tips, adding to the cockpit-like feel of the car.

Coming to its technical features, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk is equipped with the standard V-12 engine that powers all other Rolls-Royce Phantom cars. This 6.75-litre engine churns out a maximum power of 453 bhp with 523 lb-ft of highest torque, and features an 8-speed automatic transmission system. The President of Rolls-Royce North America said that the ‘Nighthawk’ was commissioned to show its owners the creativity of the Bespoke team.
