Tata has been aggressively advertising its new range of cars to get a bigger chunk in the booming Indian auto market. After aggressively advertising its all-new sedan Zest, the auto maker has again come up with a new marketing strategy to promote its Bolt hatchback. The company has come with a new innovative campaign called the Multi-drive reward, which can lead to some of its customers even winning a home. Other prizes include a fully paid trip to the Tata Motors Technical Centre in Europe and many other attractive gifts.

Tata came up with a 4-page long advertisement in a leading Daily newspaper. The advertisement came with a 'Multi-drive Rewards card' that lets them participate in a competition. The participants can take the card to their closest Tata showroom and book a Test drive using it, after which they have to complete a creative response to “I love the Tata Bolt because…..”. The winners of the competition will be judged on the basis of their response and can drive away in a brand new Bolt or win a house.

Tata bolt looks similar to its very successful predecessor, Indica. However, the hatchback has been given many new features and has undergone many design changes. Bolt comes with a dominating grille section that merges with the headlamp clusters, giving the car an edgy look. The headlights house smoked projector units. There are three variants available, namely XM, XMS and XT. The top-end version, XT, comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system that offers Bluetooth phone integration, USB, Aux-in and iPod connectivity.

The new Tata Bolt has the same engine as Tata’s sedan Zest. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged Multi-point Fuel Injection engine that is capable of producing 90 bhp of power with 140 Nm of torque. The diesel version sports a 1.3-litre engine, which churns out 75 bhp of peak power with 190 Nm of maximum torque.
