More details have emerged on the upcoming SUV from the stables of Bentley as the company has released a short video of the upcoming SUV. Though the video does not show any intricate details about the vehicle, it is more of a teaser, showing glimpse of the SUV. The SUV is slated to be launched globally within next two years. Bentley has not named the upcoming SUV yet, but the meagre details revealed on the vehicle suggest that the SUV will have Bentley DNA and will share design cues from Continental and Mulsane.
Front fascia is likely to get the mesh grille with twin-round light clusters with larger air dams, similar kind of arrangement is seen in the Continental GT also. Bentley has reportedly tested the car for summers and will soon begin testing for winter.
Under the hood we expect the luxury auto maker to house a V8 and W12 motors, besides these a plug-in-hybrid variant may also be added to the line-up by 2017. Rumour mills are humming that the company could also roll out its upcoming SUV in diesel variant.
Touted to be a part of high end luxury SUV segment, an estimated price of around GBP 1,40,000 equivalent to Rs 1.38 crore is being speculated for the SUV. Bentley is eyeing to conquer the premium SUV segment with its luxurious offering, in India the SUV could be made available for sale within one year after its launch in international market.
