There have quite a lot of rumours and spy reports about the new Bajaj Pulsar SS200 with the model being spied a number of times. The bike is production ready and the company is just adding some fine tunings to make it all the more perfect. Obviously, this bike has been among the top anticipated models of this year and Bajaj would not want to compromise on any aspect regarding this bike. The first time this model was unveiled for public display was at the 2014 edition of the Delhi Auto Expo and it has been a hit since then.
Bajaj is currently testing the bike under several conditions and trying to make it perfect in terms of power output, performance, fuel efficiency as well as looks. There are reports that this new bike will be launched within the first four months of 2015. The range of Pulsar motorbikes have taken the company Bajaj to a whole new level of competition. All the bikes in this range have been a smash hit in their respective segments and have proved their mettle over the past decade. The SS200 will be the latest inclusion to this range of motorcycle and is all set to become one of the top models of the next generation sports bikes.
The model is powered by a 200 cc engine, which has a resemblance with the current engine in use in Pulsar 200 NS. However, some necessary adjustments have been made to suit the framed and requirements of the SS200. It is expected that Bajaj will slightly alter the vita specifications of the mill to give it a sportier approach than the current NS. Apart from the powertrain, Bajaj has also slightly altered the looks. Twin projector headlights have been installed and together with split LED tail lamps, the bike actually looks ravishing. The styling of the bike has been made quite sharper, keeping in mind the likings of the modern generation. It is expected that the bike was launched, will compete against the likes of KTM Duke 200, Honda CBR150R and Yamaha R15 V2.0.
