The French car maker Renault seems to be quite in mood for launching new models in India. The Fluence and the SUV Koleos are presently doing rounds. They would be soon joined by the Micraish small car Pulse and the compact SUV, The Duster.
The Renault Duster has been kept in the Renault pavilion, with a camouflage. Interestingly, it’s not a typical all blind camouflage and does translucently reveal the design lines of the India spec model. The Renault Duster is based on the same Renault Logan platform. It will have a 1.5L dCI engine with power outputs ranging from 107 to 110PS and a torque delivery of 240Nm. The Renault Duster would lock horns with Ford’s ExoSport, which is another sedan platform based compact SUV.
Renault will officially unveil the 2012 Renault Duster today at 10:40AM. The Duster is being seen as an extremely important model for their Indian portfolio of models. For more on the Renault Duster, We shall keep you posted.
