All-new Maruti Baleno to be offered in four variants

Car buyers planning to drive home a new car this festive season can indeed consider the upcoming Maruti Baleno hatchback from the world largest automaker. Sources have revealed that the new hatchback shall be offered in four variants namely – Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The Baleno hatchback from Maruti Suzuki is set for launch on 26th October, 2015, interested customers can book one via Nexa dealership outlets in the country.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been offered in Petrol as well as diesel variants. The petrol trim gets a 1.2-Litre engine that generates 90bhp with 118Nm, while the diesel trim gets a 1.3-litre Multijet engine that generates about 89bhp of power with 200Nm of torque. The diesel is only offered with 5-Speed manual transmission, while the petrol trim gets an optional CVT apart from the 5-speed manual. The hatchback is expected to be priced around Rs. 6 lakh – Rs. 9 lakh.

In terms of features customers interested for Sigma can expect features like – ABS with EBD, Power Steering with tilt function, rear parcel tray, central locking, Dual front airbags, Power windows (front), Gear shift indicator, and AC with heater function. Customers looking forward for the Delta model can expect – Power windows, AC with Climate control, Rear parking sensors, 60:40 split rear seat, CVT gearbox (Petrol trim only), Rear wiper with defogger, Power folding and adjustable wing mirrors, Steering mounted audio controls, and Keyless entry.

The Baleno Zeta offers features like - Leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, LED daytime running lamps, Alloy wheels, Keyless entry and go with push button start, Telescopic steering wheel, Automatic headlamps with follow-me-home function, Driver’s seat height adjust and Front fog lamps. In addition to other features the Alpha model gets - Reverse camera, Projector headlamps and SmartPlay infotainment system.
