Mercedes-Benz is planning to further improve its market share in the growing luxury car market. The company that launched the 2014 CLS four-door coupe with petrol engine is now gearing up for the launch of diesel version of the car. The company has already imported five units of the CLS 250 CDI four-door coupe, and the vehicle is expected to go on sale in the early 2015.

The 2015 Mercedes CLS Coupe gets aggressive front fascia with bold grille flanked by sweptback headlamps. At the rear, the four-door coupe has petal shaped tail lights while the sloping roofline adds more to its sporty character. It is equipped with several advanced features and offers comfortable interiors. This four-door coupe is loaded with 3D instrument panel, Harman Kardon logic 7 audio system, COMAND system, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, multi-functional steering wheel etc.

The 2015 Mercedes CLS 250 CDI is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 201bhp and a peak torque of 500Nm. This engine is coupled to a 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels of the Coupe. It is also equipped with start-stop system, which reduces fuel consumption. Other than CLS four-door coupe, the Stuttgart based maker will launch the CLA sedan and the diesel-powered C-Class sedan in the first quarter of 2015.
