Ford India has introduced Ambiente, a new base variant of Fiesta with a price tag of Rs. 7.23 lacs for the 1.5L Ti-VCT diesel. However, 1.5L Duratorq TDCi Style is priced around Rs. 8.99 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). At present, there are six variants of 2012 Ford Fiesta in India out of which two are diesel, two are petrol and remaining two are automatic trims. The company has not provided any mid-variant of this vehicle. Customers may either choose the base variant or top-end model.
Ambiente variant of new Ford Fiesta is reported to be loaded with driver’s seat height adjuster, power-assisted steering, driver airbag, ABS, and electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors. Apart from these, the car also has front seat belt height adjuster, electric tilt steering, guide me home headlamps, and adjustable rear headrests.
All these features are present in the top-end Titanium+ variant of Fiesta along with additional features like Bluetooth voice control, auto power-fold mirrors, cruise control, rear park assist, reverse parking sensor and chrome front grille. The Powershift Automatic Titanium+ variant of this car is available with only petrol engine. Leather seats are added particularly to provide luxurious feeling to the passengers.
On the Titanium+ package, new voice control is provided, which allows hand free control over mobile phone, USB drive, radio, CD player, iPod and temperature. To swap, hold, mute and transfer calls, the car comes with intelligent phone utilities. For plug and play, the car is reported to have integrated aux-in-port.
