2012 BMW F30 3-Series, one of the much awaited models among luxury car enthusiasts in the Indian market, was recently spotted in India, near the port of Mumbai. The F30 luxury car is scheduled to be launched in the country in the second half of year 2012. This is the second time when the car was spotted in India. As earlier it was spotted testing in India last year.
The all new 2012 BMW F30 3-Series model is speculated to be launched with a number of new engine options including a starting range 3 - cylinder diesel engine, 2.0L four cylinder turbo diesel engine (borrowed from the existing model of the car), and a turbocharged variant of the petrol engine. The powerful engine system of the car come incorporated with an 8 speed automatic transmission, sourced from Germany’s prominent transmission system maker ZF.
The major attractions of the car include longer wheelbase that will offer higher comfort, higher power output and better fuel economy. Moreover, a range of new age technological features will be offered with the car at both exterior and interior front, details of which are yet to be revealed by the company.
