Porsche Macan

Summary

The new Porsche Macan came to the country in November 2021. In fact, the carmaker, for the first time, brought the most powerful and all-new GTS version of the Macan to India. Meanwhile, the performance SUV is available in three variants, the Standard, S and the GTS.

Exterior 

This new Macan features a new front grille, refreshed headlights, a tweaked rear diffuser and new alloy wheels. That said, it also retains the overall exterior design of the older Macan. Depending on the variant, Porsche offers distinctive alloy wheels and sizes.

Interior 

Porsche has updated the cockpit with a few modern pieces of equipment such as a new steering wheel, two small TFT displays in the instrument cluster and capacitive touch switches on the centre console. Besides, there is a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless smartphone integration.

Engine and Transmission 

With this update, Porsche has also tuned up the engines in the Macan. The Standard variant gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that makes 261bhp/400Nm. In the S, there is a 2.9-litre V6 turbo petrol motor that produces 375bhp/520Nm. Lastly, the GTS comes with a 2.9-litre V6 turbo unit capable of generating 434bhp/550Nm. All the engines are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
