The R1 from Japanese bikemaker Yamaha's production line has been a charmer on the race tracks. Based on the R1, the company had launched the limited edition 2015 YZF-R1M last year that instantly sold within hours of bookings being opened. The company aims at doing something similar again this time around by opening bookings for 2016 YZF-R1M on 1st October, 2015.
The 2016 YZF-R1M shall have similar specification as the last year's trim. Interested customers also stand a chance to access Yamaha Racing Experience wherein riders can acquire competitive riding skills via guidance from motor racing legend, Colin Edwards, and also fine-tune skills to handle different riding styles and conditions. The bike may come loaded with modern features like Communications Control Unit (CCU), Ohlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS), and carbon-fiber bodywork.
The Yamaha YZF-R1M motorcycle is stated to have received some MotoGP genes that makes it a pure performer. The bike reportedly shares some of the innovative cutting-edge technology that also serves the YZF-M1 motorcycle. The pricing and other details may be revealed in the coming days.
