Yamaha Motor Co has put forward a new smartphone application – RevTranslator, which will translate the sound of engines to auto set phrases for communication between the bike and the rider. The English version of this application is already available on App Store and Google Play for free download.

The application works on a simple basic information input and output method. It records the sound of the engine and feeds in other small information like the weather conditions, bike speed and time of the day.
