Yamaha Motors has launched its popular commuters - FZ-S FI and Fazer FI – in new colours and graphics at Rs. 82,159 and Rs. 87,305 (ex-showroom) respectively. While the FZ-S FI is now available in four new colours – Shark White, Alligator Green, Wolf Grey and Viper Black, the Fazer FI gets three new shades – Volcano Red, Ravine Black and Snowstrom White. Besides new colors, both the bikes also get new graphics on the side panels.
Since it’s just a cosmetic update, both the bikes continue to feature the same 149cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC engine with fuel injection and Yamaha’s Blue Core Engine technology. This engine churns out a maximum power of 12.9bhp and 12.8Nm of torque. Transmitting power to the wheels is a five-speed gearbox. Stopping power for the bikes comes from front disc brake and rear drum brake. Both the commuters get conventional telescopic and monoshock with a swingarm suspension at the front and rear axles respectively.
