The popular dual shaded scooter Alpha from Yamaha now gets even more trendier with the introduction of three new shades - Rocking Red, Beaming Blue and Gleaming Gold. The new shades are expected to further generate more interest especially among the younger lot who are looking out for trendier scooters.
The new trim gets costs an additional Rs. 1,000 and it is now offered for Rs. 49,939 (ex-showroom Delhi). The scooter continues to be a value added added proposition owing to features like extra long comfortable seats, a larger foot board and about 21 liters of ample under seat storage space. The scooter retains the traditional style of handle mounted headlight.
The new Yamaha Alpha continues to be powered by 113cc, single-cylinder SOHC engine that is capable of generating 7 Bhp of power with 8.1 Nm of torque. Owing to Yamaha's innovative 'Blue Core' technology the scooter is capable of delivering an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 66 kmpl.
