      Volkswagen Tristar Concept - Manage meetings while out on off-road trails

      German carmaker Volkswagen has been better known as a brand that manufactures luxury cars in the global market. This time around Volkswagen has been working on pick-up truck known as Tristar Concept for the German market. The Volkswagen Tristar is likely to be showcased at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover, Germany.

      The Volkwagen Tristar shall be powered by 2.0 Liter diesel engine that shall be mated to 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Being based on puck-up truck chassis the vehicle has abundant cargo carrying ability. The upcoming Tristar from Volkswagen shall receive tweaked-up suspension system and four-wheel drive option. Given the masculine and rugged exterior appearance, the interiors carries the opposite feel with much sophistication and comfort. The cabin area has a room for a table and an espresso machine. Moreover a 20-inch tablet computer fits in perfectly and allows easy video conferencing.

      The Volkswagen Tristar concept is basically designed to handle office chores from places where only customized business vans can only dream off. The vehicle also gets waterproof drawer apart from a set of other interesting features. The Volkswagen Tristar concept is expected to be around 6 feet high and handle the rocky terrains with ease. Speaking more about the vehicle, Dr. Eckhard Scholz, Chairman of the Board of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said at the world premiere, "The TRISTAR shows an unprecedented combination of all the good features of the T model series. It demonstrates its potential and proves it is still the ultimate benchmark. Hence the TRISTAR combines yesterday and tomorrow: On the occasion of the anniversary of the first Syncro concept car, its strikingly shows the company's all-wheel drive expertise and demonstrates its future viability.
