      Vintage car and motorcycle rally in Mumbai on February 17

      The Vintage & Classic Car Club of India has scheduled to conduct its yearly classic automobiles rally in Mumbai on February 17, 2013. Many vintage cars and motorcycles are expected to take part in the much awaited visually and aesthetically pleasing annual fiesta. The Vintage & Classic Car Club of India is the country's official body for vintage vehicles and is recognised by the World body FIVA, along with the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA).

      The vintage automobile rally will feature stylish, unique and retro cars and two-wheelers, which were manufactured during four decades between 1940 and 1980. The event is also open to the exclusive and one-of-a-kind models made till 2013, and will feature in the Modern Classics group of vehicles.

      The Vintage & Classic Car Club of India will accept entries from all across the length and breadth of the country. Hence, a number of exceptional and classic models are expected to delight the spectators and car enthusiasts at the upcoming vintage automobile rally. Organisers of the event have claimed that the February 17 event will leave audience breathless and enamoured with some of the country's “Most important and exceptional cars that have not been seen in any Indian rally till date.” Hence, the unique vintage car and motorcycle rally is garnering some immense interest and popularity amid domestic car aficionados, top industry experts and the entire automobile press media. The energy and enthusiasm is sky high regarding the classic motor vehicle rally.

      The rally will witness the participation from many famous and prominent vintage car aficionados, such as Viveck Goenka, Fali Dhondy and Hemant Ruia, amongst others. Goenka, winner of the vintage vehicle honours in 2012, will participate with his 1929 Mercedes Nurburg at the upcoming fiesta. Further, Hemant Ruia is expected to bring his 1947 made Rolls Royce Wraith model at the February 17 classic rally.
