The going has been pretty good for renowned two-wheeler manufacturer TVS as witnessed by it bagging the third position from Bajaj. Riding high on its success, TVS now aims at grabbing a share at the international market. It is worthy to be noted that the two-wheeler manufacturer is trying to put its best foot forward in the United States of America. Recently, two TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS models were spotted doing the testing rounds in US. In this aspect, it is sure to make heads turn around and grab some eyeballs. Once, it is capable of making a mark, the international market opens up for the premium Indian two-wheeler manufacturer.

When the riders of the two Apache bikes were contacted, they denied them to be personal imported models and said that the company had put in special efforts for testing the model. It definitely shows that the Hosur-based brand is looking forward to step their foot in the United States. In general, it is regarded that USA is the most developed nation when it comes to two-wheelers. TVS brand is supposedly exporting their models to different parts of the world including some parts of Latin America. However, the Apache RTR 180 ABS generates a power of 17.03 bhp only, thus categorising it under entry level motorcycles. The growing popularity of one cylinder motorcycles for cruising on freeways will provide tough competition for TVS in the international market. However, considering the fact that the Apache RTR 180 ABS slated to become the most affordable ABS bike in the United States, there are chances that TVS might find a firm foothold there.

On the other hand, for those Indians who are looking forward to the bike’s launch in the domestic market, it might be a grander affair if the RTR is launched in USA first. Thus, it will be expected that the bike retails to the Indian market with BMW dealerships, all thanks to their alliance, which occurred in the previous year. One thing is certain that TVS is looking forward to make a leap to the next level after its stupendous performance in India. Testing the Apache RTR 180 ABS might as well be the first step towards a lucrative international business for the two-wheeler manufacturer.
