Fiat India has finally launched the Punto Evo facelift in the Indian car market at an event in Delhi. The vehicle will also see regional launches across major cities in the country. The Fiat Punto Evo has been priced at Rs. 4.55 lakh for petrol and Rs. 5.27 lakh for diesel version, prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The updated hatchback has already been reached to Fiat’s dealerships across the nations while the deliveries have already started.
The updated Punto Evo is available in four trim levels- Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Sport. The Sport Variant is only limited to diesel version which gets the performance 90bhp, 1.3L multi-jet engine. The standard diesel model is offered in all three variants- Active, Dynamic and Emotion. On the other hand, the standard 67bhp 1.2L petrol is offered with Active and Emotion trims, while the top-spec 90bhp engine is available with emotion trim only.
Inside the cabin, the Fiat Punto Evo looks identical to the Linea saloon. The vehicle gets added features and restyled dashboard. It comes with a dual-tone (Black-Beige) interior, while the 90bhp Sport variant gets all-black theme. The company has given silver accents to AC vents, instrument panel and centre console. Adding to it, the vehicle is equipped with rear AC vents, while the rear legroom and boot space remains unchanged.
The Fiat Punto Evo will continue to feature the current Punto’s engine lineup- two petrol and one diesel. The petrol engines are the 1.2-litre and a 1.4-litre, producing 67bhp and 89bhp respectively. The oil burner is the 1.3-litre multi-jet engine that offers two states of tunes- 75bhp and 90bhp. All the engines are paired to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox which sends the power to front wheels of the hatchback.
