      Triumph India to launch a new bike on September 18

      Triumph India has hinted at launch of a new motorcycle in India in the upcoming week. The company is planning to launch a new bike on September 18, 2014 in New Delhi. However there is yet no clarity on whether the company will introduce a new model or bring new variant of an already existing model. Triumph currently has 11 models in its product range in India including the new Daytona 675 ABD launched in domestic market in the beginning of this year. Some of the models are assembles locally in India while some are imported as CBUs. Triumph bikes are expensive and are priced between Rs 5.7 lakh for the Bonneville to Rs 20 lakh for the Rocket III Roadster.

      The company was earlier working on 250cc engine bikes aimed at emerging markets like India and Brazil, however the company officially confirmed that it has stopped work on 250cc engine bikes. The company currently has eight exclusive outlets in India spread across the major cities in the nation like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi and Pune. The company is contemplating to launch a new dealership in Kolkata. The new dealership will be located in Maheshwartala Road near By-Pass area.
