      When it comes to bikes in India, Bajaj has a golden touch in this segment. The Pune-oriented two-wheeler manufacturer has been the reason for lakhs of smiles on the faces of two-wheeler lovers since as long back as from 1930. The best aspect of this company is that the brand does not believe in resting on its past glories but looks to make progress continuously. Its new bikes for the new calendar are set to rock the stage for two-wheelers.

      Bajaj Pulsar 200SS has been among the most-awaited bikes for this season. This bike has created a lot of suspense among fans across the country for quite some time now. The Pulsar 200SS is the fully faired version of the Pulsar 200NS, which was spied several times on camera. Pulsar 200SS is likely to get the same engine as the Pulsar 200NS.

      The current mill of the engine is capable of producing a power of 23.52 PS at the rate of 9500 rpm. The torque output for the bike is 18.3 Nm at the rate of 8000 rpm. There are expectations that the bike will be mated with a six-speed gearbox. Also, if the rumours are to be trusted, the bike is expected to sport an ABS ring with fuel-injection technology. Pulsar 200SS is expected to take on the likes of Yamaha YZF-R15, Hero Karizma R and KTM RC200. Also, the price tag is expected to be around 1.5 lakhs INR.

      Bajaj Pulsar SS400 is expected to take the Indian bike market by a storm and is expected to be launched by the middle of 2015. It was first seen at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2014 and Pulsar has named it on the basis of Super Sport 400. The bike will derive power from a 375 cc liquid-cooled quad-valve, triple spark mill. Power is transmitted to the wheels using a six-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a fuel-injection technology and there are rumours that the bike will be priced around 1.9 lakhs to 2.1 lakhs INR.

      The new generation Pulsar is expected to be powered by a 160 cc engine and is supposed to launch in 2015. The design hints are borrowed from Bajaj 200 NS and will be charged by a 160 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The new bike is supposed to be rich in features with a telescopic fork suspension on the front wheel and monoshock suspension on the rear wheel. It is expected that the new generation bike will be priced at 72000 INR.
