Son of Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan Teja recently got hitched to his fiancée, Upasana Kamineni on June 14, 2012. Considering the fact that the recently married actor is a huge auto aficionado, his new in-laws gifted him an Aston Martin V8 Vantage sports car on the wedding day. Teja had earlier assured the bride-side that he would not accept any expensive gifts from them; however, this was one gift he could not refuse. There is no other actor down south who posseses the hand-crafted V8 Vantage. Earlier, in the bond movie Casino Royale, James Bond was seen driving the same car.
Priced at roughly Rs. 2 crores in India, this two-seater sports car recently received a facelift. Among the other upgrades and features, the new car is powered by a 4.7 litre entry-level engine, which is capable of producing 420 bhp. The powertrain comes mated with the existing 6 speed manual gearbox; however, the 6 speed SportShift manual transmission has been replaced by a 7 speed SportShift unit.
