The company has revealed much on what’s under the hood for now, however it is anticipated that the car will continue to be powered by a retuned three-cylinder engine that might generate somewhere between 61bhp to 81bhp. The exterior does not seem to get major upgrades except for new 13-inch tyres instead of 12-inch tyres on the current generation. Though the car continues to get a single wiper unit, it now additionally gets a double arm design along with windshield washers.

As for the interiors, this is where the new Nano might get major upgrades. The test mule sports new dashboard, instrument console and seats. The centre positioned speedometer now features various lights, but seems to have missed the tachometer. The AC vents have been redesigned and the car also featured the Harman ConnectNext infotainment system instead of the regular CD/MP3 system with Bluetooth seen in the GenX Nano.
