Hyundai is offering the automatic transmission on the Magna variant of the Grand i10 petrol. The lower-spec Magna trim is priced at Rs 5.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the top-spec petrol automatic now gets ABS and is priced at Rs 6.79 lakh. Also, Hyundai has discontinued the 1.0-litre LPG variant of the Maruti Swift competitor.
The Magna variant loses out on many features compared to the top-spec Asta (O). It misses out on safety features, music system, adjustable steering and driver side seat, engine start-stop button, cooled glove box, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear wash-wipe and few others.
Hyundai has discontinued the standard Asta trim without ABS. The petrol automatic which was available in this trim has been replaced by the top-spec Asta (O), which is expensive but has additional safety. The hatchback uses the four-speed automatic transmission, which powers the front wheels with the 1.2-litre engine producing 79bhp and 112Nm of torque.
