Speaking on the launch of the brand new Xenon Pick-up, Ravi Pisharody, Executive Director, Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, said, “The Pick-up segment is growing rapidly and we see this trend continuing. With the launch of the Tata Xenon Pick-up, we are strengthening our existing Pick-up portfolio. The vehicles have several best-in-class features, which are a strong proposition, and with our existing products like the Tata Super Ace, Tata RX Pick-up and the new Tata Xenon Pick-up range, we are well placed in the market to take on any challenges.”

The new Xenon Pick-up features a 3.0 litre Common Rail and Turbo Direct-Injection powertrain option that packs a punch of 72 hp of maximum power along with 223 Nm of maximum torque in the single cab model. The dual cab variant carries a peak power output of 115 hp with a peak torque of 300 Nm. Reportedly, the new vehicle will deliver best-in-class fuel economy owing to its scientifically designed drive train. The Xenon Pick-up is an engineering marvel as its aerodynamic styling, overdrive gearbox, smooth torque attributes and radial tyres entail it to have an enhanced fuel economy. The vehicle's 32 per cent gradeability ensures its durability while driving in hilly terrains. With a confident stance, Tata Motors is providing a warranty of 3 lac km or three years, whichever ends first, with its new Xenon Pick-up.

The new Tata Xenon Pick-up is one of the most robust vehicles in its segment and a variety of payload choices has been packed within the model to make it best suitable for the requirements of different sectors. The single cab model of Tata's new vehicle is known to have a longest body length of 8’4”. Besides, utility features like 3-side drop load body, which facilitates the everyday commercial activities and convenient loading height are also the key USPs of the new model.

Tata has incorporated its Xenon Pick-up with a special rear suspensions system, namely 2-stage semi elliptical leaf, which ensures a decent load carrying ability of the vehicle along with a brilliant ride comfort and convenient handling. Advancements like cushioned bucket seats in the front with adjustable lumbar support, power steering and adjustable steering column are also packed within the new model.

On the other hand, the dual cab model is loaded with some of the advanced standard features like central locking, HVAC, power windows, lumber support seats and top-notch cab trims. The model also holds limited slip differential feature, which prevents wheel spin on slippery and muddy surfaces, making it an ideal option for off-track movement. It is believed that the elegant designing of the new model will meet the requirements of crew as well as cargo movement via safe and comfortable credentials.

Tata Xenon Pick-up has been developed keeping in mind the international standards of security. Safety features like crumple zones, 3-layered body construction, collapsible steering column, retractable seatbelts and side intrusion beams are also packed within the new model.

The company has offered an option of four vibrant colours, namely Mineral Red, Arizona Blue, Arctic Silver and Arctic White, in a vision to pull the masses. Against a price consideration of Rs. 5.44 lacs for the single cab model and Rs. 6.34 lacs for the dual cab variant, Tata Xenon will surely cater to the demands of a large number of buyers.
